Flash MeshCore with the web flasher

You'll need

• A MeshCore-supported radio with its antenna attached
• A USB data cable
• Chrome or Edge on a computer

Pick the right firmware type

The MeshCore flasher offers several firmware types for each device. Choose by job:

Firmware	Choose it for
Companion (Bluetooth)	Your personal radio, paired to the MeshCore phone app
Companion (USB)	A radio you’ll use from a computer over USB
Repeater	A fixed node that relays for everyone
Room server	A message board that stores posts
Ripple GUI	Standalone use on devices with a screen and keyboard (such as the T-Deck)

Flash it

1. Attach the antenna, then plug the radio in with a USB data cable.
2. Open flasher.meshcore.io in Chrome or Edge.
3. Choose your device, then the firmware type.
4. Flash, selecting the radio’s serial port when asked. Erase the device first if it had Meshtastic or another firmware on it.
5. Wait for it to reboot.

T-Deck download mode

The MeshCore FAQ says to put a T-Deck into download mode by powering it off, connecting USB, holding the trackball, powering on, and releasing the trackball after the USB connection sound.
